We're open 30th April till 30th August 2026.
You notice it the moment you arrive.
No playground, no children’s activities, no radios breaking the silence, and no loud entertainment.
Here, it’s not about a packed schedule of activities, but about the peace and quiet of nature.
You wake up to birdsong, take a dip in the lake, listen to the wind rustling through the trees, read a book, and end the day beneath a star-filled sky.
And if you feel like some music? Feel free to pick up the guitar or sing a song. Music that comes from the heart always belongs here.
Sometimes, the greatest luxury isn’t what’s there…
but what isn’t.
Our small camp site can accommodate 15 caravans/ campers (max. 7,5m*) and tents.
* Is your camper /caravan longer than 7,5m?
Please contact us! We have only one spot that can accommodate a larger motorhome. We are happy to reserve these for you!
Dogs on a leash are very welcome on our campsite.
No dog-fence allowed

Paddling and swimming
Park your caravan adjacent to the lake.
Our campsite lies adjacent to a cosy bathing area.We have facilities for hiring a canoe so you can discover the lake and our beautiful surroundings. The lake has several small islands where you may bbq or enjoy a picnic.
Like fish in water
Säm's lake in the district of Herrljunga is lively with different types of fish, including carp. The local fishing club is very active and for the competitive angler there are numerous spots along the lakeside where one can try their luck or why not try fishing from a boat?
For boat rental, a fishing license or a depth map, you wil find it at Frendo gas station in Annelund
(5 km from our campsite).

To enjoy many of nature's attractions does not always need to be expensive. Just one night at Säm's camping can costs as little as 230 SEK/per night for 2 persons..

Back to basics
This is our little place by Lake N. Sämsjön. A creative, slightly different, and very personal mini campsite in southwestern Sweden.
You come here to camp.
But the lovely thing is that many people seem to stay a little longer than they originally planned… perhaps because it feels a little like home here.
Here, we drink coffee outdoors, chat with people we’ve just met, laugh, barbecue, swim, and sit around the fire when evening comes.
And sometimes, we simply do nothing at all.
That’s probably what we love most.
The campsite may be fully booked, but somehow, the peace and quiet always seem to find a place.
Säm... simply luxurious!
Throughout the world, luxury is often seen as something rare and exclusive. To us, simplicity and the breathtaking environment is a form of luxury we can offer during a stay in our fantastic natural environment. Relax and gaze at the night sky and see the stars in awe inspiring silence..
Here at Säm's Camping you can leave behind the hustle and bustle of the towns and cities and partake in the peaceful surroundings, breathe in the clean air where you will find yourself surrounded by forests, beautiful lakes and idyllic hamlets and villages.
To us, this is luxury.

Walk the old Pilgrim Trail
Follow the path from the camp site. The trail/route will take you on a 47km journey through villages and beside lakes. The hike can be enjoyed at your own pace and surrounded by stunning views.

Bike along the many lakes, small old villages and take a ¨fika¨ break at one of the small cafes.
